Systems services have recently completed the upgrade of a two channel tow bar test facility for PCT Automotive in Sheffield.  A two channel Tiab controller was installed which included custom software for testing tow bars to the latest VCA requirements.  The operator simply identifies the test article, inputs max/min loads and number of cycles and presses start!  The controller automatically logs peaks and troughs in an easily read file format.  In addition the system monitors loads and displacements and will stop if limits are exceeded.
