Systems Services have just completed the refurbishment of four sets of grips for a new testing facility at BAE Systems, Samlesbury.

The grips, 3 x 100kN and 1 x 250kN, were originally installed on Losenhausen machines in the 1970’s and have proved so accurate with alignment that when BAE purchased new Instron machines they instructed Systems Services to refurbish and relocate the grips to the new facility.

In addition to refurbishing the grips, Systems Services installed pressure boosters and a portable pressure booster.
